Posted by Redman on June 3rd, 2010 My daughter was asking me to buy her a new gadget which I know I really could not afford that time. There were too many bills that needed to be settled first and buying what my kid wanted was not on the priority list. It really hurts to see my girl get disappointed. So as a compromise, I told her that she should work in the house like do her chores religiously if she really wanted to get that thing.
She agreed to our compromise and I was happy. Not only did I see her do her chores without whining or complaining about it but she did other things that normally she would not do. She was really being extra helpful around the house and extra nice to her brothers. That made me see how serious she was in getting that iPod. With that, I decided to sell gold jewelry that I had so that I would be able to afford to buy it for her.
I went to the site that my friend went to when she tried to sell diamonds to be able to buy her dream car. Since I already know about the site I knew I was in good hands. I got the check a few days after I sent them the jewels and I have the iPod in my cabinet now, just waiting for the right time to give it to my daughter.
Posted by Redman on May 17th, 2010 Growing up in a home filled with the most delicious aroma of baked pastries and foods, one can say that we usually hang out in the kitchen. Whether it’s for cooking, baking, gossiping, Guest entertaining, studying, family time… you name it. This is the only place that we can bond with family members and friends. Fortunately, this kitchen is pleasing to the eyes. Mom and I are filled with every kitchen design ideas you can imagine. So when we transformed this kitchen a month ago, mom and I are the ones who contract the company based on what we heard from them.
One of my neighbors referred them to us when they worked on her kitchen cabinets St. Petersburg style last January. That’s all it takes for us to hire them— we know for a start they are not hard to deal with and they are not that expensive. We wanted to have an island that serves as table and dishwasher at the same time; it’s for convenience and to save space in our small kitchen. Their patience in answering our queries never stops them from giving us the best look for our kitchen. The outcome was very good and I can not wait to fill it up with the rest of our kitchen tools. Mom is also frantic on using the new counter. My family and I loved this area even more. Thank you so much!
Posted by Redman on March 31st, 2010 The Arizona wedding music band that I have seen now at four separate weddings always plays different music. It seems like everyone in the band can sing different songs and it is not everyday music all the time, they do some Latin too. My husband and I have been thinking of having a big party for our employees at the end of the busy season, which would be around August and hiring a Phoenix private party band would be a great way to see this band again.
I made sure to get their business card this last time that we saw the Arizona wedding music band, just in case we did not see them again. There was one other wedding though, a couple of weeks later and they were there but I had already gotten them booked for the end of August and felt great about that.
I kept telling my staff all about how good the Phoenix private party band that we had hired were and they were all excited to think that they had something fun to look forward to in just a few months. The caterer that I booked was also one of the best and the menu that we decided on, was going to make everyone very happy.
Posted by Redman on March 22nd, 2010 I would rather go to the local supermarket and pick up the janitorial and safety supplies that I need, then use someone who is what looks like price gauging. Since there is only one safety and janitorial supplies company in town, that delivers, they take advantage of all the businesses that use them. I once had to ask them to rush over some printer paper and ink and they charged me an extra fifty dollars for a trip fee. I am sure that that it probably cost them a total of fifty cents in gas, if even that since they are less than two miles away.
I called the owner of the janitorial and safety supplies company the day after I got the bill and told him what I thought about his pricing. It was not a very pleasant conversation and I am sure that he really does not like me anymore. I stressed that even though he might be the only safety and janitorial supplies company in this small town, he was definitely not the only supplier in this world.
I have since switched over to an online company that gets me anything that I need, over night and does not charge extra. I have a standing monthly order with them and they have great prices.
Posted by Redman on February 22nd, 2010 The body shops Tampa Fl has to offer are really some of the best. When I had a car that needed work, I would drive down four hours to hire one of the best body shops Tampa Fl had and even paid a little more than what it would have cost me at home but it was really worth it. I remember there being this guy who was about fifty years old who grew up being in a body shop because he father would make him help out after school, he picked up every trick of the trade that there was and he defiantly is the best that I have ever seen.
A buddy of mine who was just starting to get into racing cars, needed to have a car painted and I told him about the guy who worked for the body and paint shop in Tampa. I explained how good this guy was and that he had been around body shops for most of his life and my buddy took my advice and drove down to the paint shop in Tampa to hire the guy.
I did not see my buddy’s car before, but he did show me some pictures of what it used to look like. Now, it is gorgeous and the paint job is just outstanding. All the little details and pin striping that were added make it a one of a kind car.
Posted by Redman on February 10th, 2010 The office supplies store that opened up next door is always busy. I do not use them regularly but do know that they have a website that I should check out according to them. They have come over a couple of times to just see what kinds of cars we have in stock and they always leave coupons and business card in the dealership, I am not sure if they are meant to be for us or our customers, but I put them in our break room anyway.
If we decide to switch office supply companies, it will only be after the owner of a few of his employees come in and purchase a car or cars from us. The office supplies store that we currently use is run by a guy who has bought his last three cars from us, so he is a very loyal customer and we do not want to turn our backs on someone like that.
I have told my other salesman to drop a hint to the office supply store salesman the next time they come over that we only use other companies that use us too. I think that it should get the point across and they will not bring over their cards anymore unless they decide to buy.
Posted by Redman on February 8th, 2010 My website development company has been doing very well. We create more custom web design sites than anyone else in the city. I had to hire many family members who worked for next to nothing when I first started but now they all know that it was worth it. I have more than tripled their salaries and they all get end of the year bonuses based on the sales for the year.
I know that many of them did not think that my website development company would be able to make it when the economy took a big hit but we just buckled down, watched our spending and concentrated on making custom web design sites for everyone who was braving the storm with us.
When we got through the first two years that seemed to be the toughest and there was light at the end of the tunnel, we bought a new building that looked more professional than the one we had originally started out in. I think that this has helped us grow as well. When your clients come to your office, they want to see that you are doing well and that was not always the case at our old building because if it was raining, then the roof was leaking.
Posted by Redman on January 31st, 2010 I am handling selling old silver coins that belong to my elderly grandfather. He is moving into an assisted living facility and needs to liquidate some of his assets to pay for it. He asked me if selling coins online for him would be something I would be willing to do. I jumped at the chance to help him out and see his huge collection up close and personal since as a child; I was not allowed to touch it.
I put up the first two auctions on Monday for selling old silver coins and set them to both last for seven days. The bids are already through the roof and I called my grandfather to tell him all about it. He sounds very excited and said that he knew that all that time collecting the coins would pay off some day. He just wished that my grandmother would have lived to see it, I guess that she hated that he spent so much time collecting coins.
I never knew that selling coins could be so lucrative but there is always a market for everything and the coin market is really doing well, despite the current state of the economy. More people should look into family coin collections if they have them and use them to help them out financially if it is needed.
